Hi all. I am fairly new to all this. Can some explain or write a short "idiot guide" to what an "asset" actually is and how it works and why HZ is so cheap. Many thanks and sorry for being so dense!

I will fail at writing an idiot guide, sorry :-) Still, I might be able to help perhaps:
"Assets" are ~ "
colored coins".
Try it practically! If you want to know how to buy asset shares, I suggest my
"how to buy, for newbies" thread.
If you want to know how to issue an asset (and understand them better, in general), I have documented issueing my own asset quite well in my
"AAssetHZ" thread, including a lot of preparatory thinking.
One part of my preparation was studying the other assets, which is partly documented in my
assetparser.py thread.
