To a lot of people bitcoin is a a hobby, so they know they will never get ROI with and or without free power. Instead is a long-term investment. Bitcoin has survived this long even with the governments showing their disinterest in it and the media's attempt to distant everyone who doesn't know enough about Bitcoin from it. It's still here today and it will still be here once the US economy tanks. No one not even you for saw it rise to $1200 before it happened, so there is a very good chance it will happen again.
If you dislike Bitcoin that much sell me yours for $0.05 a coin so i can collect them!
