your balance will stay in spendable, when the little indicator at the bottom of the wallet goes green that means your coins are mature. with version 2 pos coins the weight does not continue to increase with time like v.1 pos coins, but every coin equals 1 in weight (if you hover your mouse over the indicator when it's green it will tell you the wallets weight)  the higher your wallets weight is vs the networks weight the more frequently you'll find pos blocks. and when it finds a block the coins from the tx that found the block will go into "staking balance" until the found pos block is fully confirmed/matured

I'm up to 6k now and my wallet says 1 hr wait till I find a block
