Yea I noticed that too, this is concerning to say the least.
I'm surprised there is no coverage of this in other crypto-media. Sounds like a juicy story - a news site rents a domain from a company infamous for its 9/11 charity fraud, failed cloud mining business, and suspected in securities fraud. Even without mentioning Garza's name because he's "not involved". Come on guys, do I need to write headlines for you

If I proposed such an article, the internal discussion would be like, "raise your hand if you know anyone who reads Bitcoinist."
Even better - a no-name self-proclaimed news site rents an uber-expensive domain from a company owned/controlled by individuals suspected in embezzlement, money laundering, and ties with foreign bad people.
The real story would be if someone could prove they weren't, in fact, renting it, but simply using it as part of the purchase agreement that went from official to secretive last fall. That would be a real story.
