Other than the checkpoint there is a change that delays staking a block by 300 seconds. This helps the wallet behave better.

Since I am not the keeper of this thread and the OP is getting very out of date, I'm thinking about starting a new thread.

PS: The updated MAC wallet is running fine, it will get posted tonight I hope.
