Dear Moderators,
Serious question, if I make a post that isn't interesting enough and it gets deleted, is that considered breaking a rule? Is it a rule is to actually make every single post interesting and/or valuable? (in an already existing thread, obviously no "worthless" threads should be started)
I do try to make interesting/valuable posts, but sometimes I might just reply in a positive way about some great event happening. Say, we worked very hard on something for months, "Great news" or something like that, and I notice it gets deleted. Seems bizarre, and totalitarian by any possible objective measure, but if this is to cut down on spam I guess I get it. I just want to understand the logic or bias that is in action here. Thanks for any information. Not trying to break any rules, just want to understand them. This place is strange, sorry, but it is.
If it qualifies as a "+1" post it probably is considered too low quality to be kept. If its a bit more, e.g. adds a reason why in your opinion this is great news and how you relate to etc. it will probably not get removed. Keep in mind that the idea of this board is to discuss topics. This includes agreeing with someone, but there would a reason why you agree with someone and you should post that.

Rephrasing is a form of spam. I collect those posts and report them to BadBear directly
if a user does it constantly.
This sort of behavior is high in Beginners & Help.
Yes, thats why I did not read that section for a while. I did start to read there again, but I tend to unwatch posts relatively quick. Its also difficult to judge. Someone might rephrase a post, but add another point or a different perspective on things. Its one of the highest forms of spam if you will and thus hard to detect.
