Yeah, an updated Mac client would be nice.
I have just compiled Mac wallet from the latest source off Github.
Tested on 10.7 - 10.10.

I'm running OSX 10.10.3
Looks like dependencies problem, the wallet works perfectly on my Lion and Yosemite dev box, I will check the release build again.
