Isn't purposely pumping and dumping illegal in the US?
What happens when this transfers over to crypto-currency and people that boast about it in forums? Will the SEC go after groups like this?
I highly doubt it. These assholes get away with it.
Yes the organizer does, but the rest dont. First they pay 0.5btc, then they pump coin he bought a month ago and raise price few times, he dump right before tell them to dump and at the end they have almost no profit and problems with law. He is of course somewhere far from any law and safe.
