Change it to anything, just don't want my username it associated with this site.
You can't change your name and I guess MtGox Support is playing around with you , you can change if you are Staff member or VIP or Donator as far as I know .

Can't they simply connect to the Database (Probably only Theymos can do that) and use a simple query using UID or Username or whatever to get the account deleted , SQL isn't that hard 
It is hard when there is no access. I highly doubt most have database credentials. That is not something you want to give away lightly. Especially if were talking an account with access to delete information. Very very few I think would ever be given access to db.
I don't see this forum adding the delete future.
