It's Crazy Wednesday at Nitrogen!

It's Wednesday and we're feeling a little crazy so we've decided to give away over 1 BTC to our poker fans! In addition to the open 50/100 freerolls and the Crazy Wednesday freeroll, we're also giving out some surprise freebets to entire tables throughout the day.

Crazy Wednesday's Open Freeroll Schedule
  • The Hourly Freeroll - Every hour on the hour
  • 50 Hand Challenge - 11:00 am ET
  • 100 Hand Challenge - 6:00 pm ET
  • Crazy Pineapple Wednesday - 10:00 pm ET

Sit-in and play some hands of poker today, you may just earn yourself a few freebets!

Only at

Gave it a try didn't win but it was fun to play a few hands

I saw the prize listed for one of the hourly freerolls as "1".

Is that 1 mBTC (about 24 cents USD)?

That's about right plus/minus the exchange rate but its more to play for fun than anything else try new strategies etc.

Then they should call it a play money tournament and not pretend that one can "earn yourself a few freebets!"

Even on the tournament pay board it's (intentionally) borderline deceptive - it says the Prize is "1", rather than more correctly "1 mBTC".

Really shabby business practices.

I think the freebets are bets they give out in the chat and randomly on tables via admins and not tournaments? They write: "we're also giving out some surprise freebets to entire tables throughout the day." so that's what I assumed anyway.

Also, to be fair - all amounts in poker are in mbtc everywhere

Hey Steadyeddie,

You had it right! In our initial post we were referring to the surprise free bets that we were giving out to random poker tables yesterday. We weren't being intentionally deceptive with our prize listings, if you take a look at our static freeroll and tournament schedule you'll see that everything's listed out in mBTC. These hourly tournaments are only intended to be a fun challenge, we also have the daily and weekly challenges, Grindabit freerolls, and Crazy Wednesday freeroll with larger prize pools.

Good luck at the tables!
