I would suggest/recommend both
Not only for the community, but also for promotional purpose and investment purpose
Posting on BitcoinTalk will allow you to keep attracting regular BitcoinTalk visitors And also many are just in the habit of coming here, and won't change that I suspect :p
Making a walk-trough page (could be even done on a free template & on a free host) will be able to pull potential investors who are still doubtful about whether to invest or not, having such a page allows you to come across very honest/professional
