And the fact that 1.7 has reached end of life, everyone should be updating to 1.8 any ways unless you have a specific reason not to.
There are still many machines, for examples, that running at offices or on XP etc and can't run Java 1.8
And I guess the number is significantly large.
NXT can run on both Java 1.7 and 1.8. No specific reason why NAS should limit to 1.8 machines only.
(I'll email them as well when I get a few minutes so they can ask me any questions they might have about the resurrection of NAS.)
