Do you seriously think that he got hacked, discovered that he got hacked then did not change his password to secure his account? Even if the hacker didn't change his password this scenario doesn't make sense.

Actually his trust will only show if he reset his password within the last 30 days or changed it in the last 3 days. You can go to bitcointalk.org/seclog.php to see all of the password changes and resets in the last 30 days and then search for his username to see if it was changed - it was not
