Use tor browser. It worked for me. Although sometimes when it comes to actually downloading stuff it can get a bit complicated. That might be just because my laptop is a lump of junk sometimes though 
Tor would be very slow to use for torrents by the nature of how it works. It can be pretty slow just to browse the web so I wouldn't recommend it for torrenting.
