actually bitcoin already adopted as a currency in some merchant in this world, example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=567458.0 you can see a lot merchant accept bitcoin in Bali.

and indeed, bitcoin accepting merchants rose from only 10,000 in 2013 (worldwide) to over 100,000 today!

How do you know that?

It's impossible to know how many are accepting bitcoin.

Sorry i should have specified that these facts are from reports done in the past (consensuses etc)

also, a list of bitcoin merchants can be found at coinmap.org (which is quite inaccurate but is a nice list of your local bitcoin merchants)
