4tb drives cost a little over £100 in the UK and you can get 'em cheaper in the US and I would rather keep them myself than trust a cloud site with them. You could also get a blu-ray burner and burn them to them instead. Think they hold about 25gb per disc.

I work at a AD Agency so theres a lot of my work as well as commercial videos in raw format. My wife's a photographer as well as both our computers need backup regularly. But you're right I could buy another NAS and have it mirrored at some of my folks.

Yeah, just go with an external drive. Back up stuff to blu rays as well so you're double protected or buy an additional drive to back up. You'll be glad you did if one ever dies on you.
