I was highly skeptical when I saw that the person who responded was so new.
The device was given to HSE after I asked repeatedly for the CE certificate but they refused to comply (which is also illegal).

This was later changed when I repeatedly stated I wanted the CE certificate and would not be sending the device back until I had received it. I asked a total of 9 times for the CE/FCC certificate (CE is legally mandated, unsure about FCC) and each request was either stalled or outright ignored (but other points were addressed by Jody). The address given to BFL for a refund was 16BFfdKE7PxyeVA2V7Pi3U3nHygE5QRpJ8 and was for $301.75 (+ $111.60 for return of the device for investigation). As the address shows, no BTC was ever refunded.
