There are increasing amounts of localized activity in many regions so having news that is relevant to those areas is very helpful.

We will be covering a lot of local news here in Canada because there is a lot of crypto activity here. We also plan on offering insights on World crypto news as it is relevant to our regions. Based on this regionality it is very easy to provide insight into the same story but from different perspectives as they affect areas differently.

Another example: Compliance issues (a.k.a. AML/KYC regulations) are fundamentally different wherever laws differ. So for commenting on regulations of this sort the territory being reported from is a big factor. In Canada this is an issue handled completely differently from the U.S. and in the U.S. it can be broken down state-by-state. Gaining insight from these specific regions can be informative for people from those regions (instead of getting only the broad World view) and can also give insight for people in other regions for comparative or other purposes.

As Bitcoin continues to drill down further into various sub-sectors of the World economy, so too should the media that covers it's progress. We will be there as these things unfold, locally and globally.
