Almighty is right, If we don't coordinate our effort for this voting round... we will lose the votes/DOT. I will be sending some DOT later on today (as I write this there is still 18h left to go) and I'll try to cover the highest bidder (assuming no other coins buys crazy lots of DOT).
If everyone chips in a few mBTC, we should be able to win the voting.
Let's get this on at least one exchange.

I should stress that it's probably advisable not to leave this to the last minute. I sent the funds 2 hours ago, but the voting page hasn't yet reflected this (the block explorer is also only showing 28 confirms, when according to my client, the block the tx is in currently has 71 confirms). An earlier donation of 1000 DOT also took some time to appear. It may not matter, they may count all confirmed funds at the end, regardless of whether the total DOT amount on the page is up-to-date, but to be safe it's probably better to do it now, rather than later.
For all we know, there could be other coins which have a sizeable lead due to a recent DOT vote, but that lead is not yet showing on the voting page...
