I would recommend just ignoring coins that have these private slack groups.
agree. any coin looking to finish in the Top100 of 2015 needs a public transparent BCT thread.
if you want to do a walled garden, then you don't get my backing.
I agree that every coin should maintain a strong presence on btctalk, but the fact of the matter is, btctalk isn't the best avenue for communication. Slack provides a quick and efficient way of communicating in real time and it limits the amount of trolling, as btctalk is certainly a playground for trolls at this point.
Anyone can join the TRON slack, so it's only a walled garden if you're too lazy to join.
