Yes they can but don't think they have time for that , there is different ways to proove that it's your account but signing message is the easiest and the fastest , just sign a message , post here so someone verify it once Theymos or BadBear reads it you will get your account back . Check shorena thread to learn how to sign a msg it only takes couple of minuts
