These guys should just forget this Scrypt.cc Ponzi mining shit and go for Proof of Stake Coins, there is atleast 10 or so good POS Coins making good headway and provide nice rewards while allowing users to always have control over their own funds.
Hi mate, while following this thread I have got interested in POS coins reading your comments. So I went ahead and read through promoted PayCon (in your signature) and got interested even more

I still have couple
BTC's in scrypt.cc, but I want to pull them out - well, it depends on how soon and at what price I can sell my khs's and if I can withdraw after all

Well, I wanted to ask - what POS coin would you suggest to start with - you know, for newb like me, just starting with POS ? I mean in terms of learning the underlying tech easily and also with active dev&community and reasonable stable supply&price ?
Or does it make sense not to put all bets on one horse and diversify ? Meaning - it makes sense in POS world to start with multiple coins/wallets right from the beginning ?
And last question - what would be the best POS coins combination from your point of view atm ?
Thank you very much for taking time to read this and also for your reply and any tips you can give me to go more in depth.
Anyway, good luck to you all - wherever you are investing in!
I have been mostly active in the development of PayCon but I would not suggest putting all your eggs into one basket and to diversify among different Coins. If you buy a large amount of one type of POS Coin you also need to be able to sell that amount as well so the larger amount you have in any one Coin, the harder it is to sell into any buy support or to put on sell orders to wait for other people to buy. There are two types of POS, passive and competitive Staking, passive coins give you the same percentage reward based on what you own such as MintCoin, TekCoin, HyperCoin, or MaryJaneCoin, competitive POS give a fixed reward per Block such as HyperStake, PayCon, Clams and Bitbeans and for these Coins it relies more on the sizing of your Blocks in order to receive maximum reward and general rule is more Blocks give you higher rewards and can receive over the actual inflation as there is never 100% Stake participation. Best place to start is to begin researching Coins in the list, looks at what types of volume each Coin is doing, how much inflation they pay and then start asking questions, look for good entry points.
