John comes to Ponzi site and thinks it's going to make him lots of money.
John loses money from Ponzi site and is now broke and leaves Crypto forever.
Everyone else loses because John can't invest his money into legitimate projects and Ponzi site owner is selling Johns Bitcoins back into fiat which devalues Bitcoin, all Crypto is based off Bitcoin price.
