That shouldn't be a problem. Even free hosting services out there can handle more hits than that.

Some dont. Like hostinger. They hijack your traffic first chance they get. 500 visitors and they shut me down for high usage on their server...
Depends on the script you're using. A poorly-designed script can cripple a dedicated server with ONE visitor. A well-designed script can handle millions of hits a DAY with less than 16 MB of RAM and almost no CPU. Just giving traffic information doesn't help at all -- there are far too many variables.
