Hi,

I like minera, I have it running on two Raspberry PI 2 and it works fine.
i have some miners on each of them and sometimes i have to take one out for testing or something else.
I don't like to buy an third Raspberry only for testing, so here my question.

Is it possible to use the Raspberry Pi Image on a Notebook?
Why I'm asking:
I have a Windows Notebook and this should stay like it is, but for testing my miners, i like to boot from a SD Card Minera and do what i need to do for testing.

Ideas are welcome ;-)

No, because Raspberry is a platform running on ARM cpu architecture while your laptop runs on x86 cpu architecture, so it's incompatible and your Minera SD card will never boot up.

You could run a virtual box on your Windows with Ubuntu and follow the manual installation here: https://github.com/michelem09/minera/wiki/Getting-started#manual-install
