How long should 14 week behind sync take ?
A lot since I am assuming the Android APK was compiled from the old wallet which had sync issues. Although I think its possible to dump your privkey from console. If you know how to import priv key do it on a freshly synced wallet at computer. If you don't come to slack and whisper me. Slack regis link is at OP.
Btw I am curious how the new wallet with markets will work on mobile or will it?
It's been 48hours and only synced 2 weeks! I've not really got a clue what to do from here
. The old wallet is very slow to sync.The old wallet shouldn't be on the website! I downloaded the Wallet to later find out its the old one! Now need to wait bloody weeks until I can see my coins,!
APK wasn't updated, however, since you are not coming to slack I'll do a small instractions here so it might help.
First of all, download a fresh wallet to your PC and let it sync.
Than go back to your Android and open console, type:
Quote
dumprivkey COPYHERETHEADDRESSYOUSENTYOURCOINS
A text will appear, you will have to save it somewhere as we will be using it on computer (maybe mail yourself from your phone to computer)
On computer wallet (that is freshly synced), open console and type:
Quote
importprivkey THELONGTEXTYOUCOPIEDGOESHERE
This should import your address that you sent your coins to the Windows (or pc) wallet.
Backup your wallet.dat at android for safety.
