You can never trust pools 100% of the time. I've been there, and done that.

What do you mean? IIRC, Slush indirectly admitted to being able to steal blocks without anyone knowing. It's even easier to steal shares. I got scammed by a pool that stole 2-3 blocks and a 'block finder's bonus'. Though, that panned out in the end, because the community is very nice.
