Reddcoin's lead developer Larry Ren (Laudney) has stepped down from his position and the coin's creator Jonathan Patenaude is now looking for someone to fill this role.  Much of the community and dev team remain committed to our goal of making Reddcoin the only currency that can be sent to anyone on any major social network while remaining completely decentralized.

Some of the infrastructure that is already in place in the Reddcoin ecosystem:

-Reddsight blockchain explorer

-Forums at Reddcointalk.org
-Reddcoin Ltd legal group
-Browser Wallet utilizing Electrum technology (currently in open beta)

Other features being developed or planned:

-Redd-ID blockchain level identity service
-Universal Micropayment Platform (browser extension that works with the rest of the infrastructure to allow micropayments to any user on any social network)
-Mobile Electrum wallets for Android and iOS
