May be not if we can make dev team jealous with another coin. Look at Vanilla coin, only 6 month development, now rank 3rd in poloniex worth almost 45.000 satoshi while BBR stuck at 8000 satoshi.
Perhaps we should discuss which new dev we would like to recruit.
Smooth seems like the logical choice because he is familiar with the CryptoNote codebase and has a proven willingness to look at other CryptoNote coins besides Monero.
The big question mark are his time availability and how much we can offer in terms of compensation

Or we, the community could develop fpga miner for wildkeccak, I think cz wouldnt mind, because it will help significantly to secure the network. The board is ztex 1.15y contain 4 spartan 6 with 64MB RAM. I dont know how, maybe there is RAM mod to 2GB at least, then modify bootloader to utilize that 2GB, since scratchpad has to be loaded all to RAM. Besides there are already wildkeccak.cl to implement on fpga. I think the result will be impressive at least 30MH at 12watt.
