Yes, this happened to me a few times (not sure exactly). I do admit that my posts were bad back then. I think all of the bans occurred in 2014, but I'm not sure. I did PM BadBear about it, and he did give a nice explanation with some tips. A combination of a high number of posts + low quality + signature campaign will most likely get you punished.

Looking at your account it seems that you were banned on July 4th. That day you've made 19 posts and you probably drew attention, unless you were already reported by some moderator. I do not have enough time right now to analyze all of your posts, however if I look at only posts made on June 28th, it is pretty much clear to me. I see 10 one liners, and a few other shorts posts (again, no time to asses quality of each).

It is okay to make mistakes, I accidentally showed some support to tspacepilot in his war again QS a few months ago because I replied too quickly.  I've had situations where my post contained ~300 words (however, it is not all about length but the discussion of quality needs a separate thread) and the next poster (also a signature campaign participant) posted a one liner. That post took almost 30 minutes to properly get written with research.

The point of this is that people make mistakes, and one must definitely spend a lot more time reading before replying (unless you're the first one to reply).

Thanks for the info. I guess it's the quality of the posts I made. I should be careful nextime and takes time to read all the posts and replies. However, I wanted to know if I'll still get ban if I posted a lot but this time my posts were with good quality?
