Its not just GPU miners everyone who uses nicehash to mine this puts downward pressure on the price since they only pay out in bitcoin.
Not necessarily. With Nicehash it depends on the people buying Hashpower to mine coins with it. Since they have to pay in BTC for it there is some pressure to sell these again to be able to rent more, though. Unless the plan is using their BTC to stack on coins this way instead of buying from exchange.
