Repentance, this forum is the place to find those people, they're here, whether they know it or not.
You did this regarding your venture related to sea-steading. Instead of seeking funding from people who were already on board with many of your ideas and therefore natural allies, you tried to "convert" people. When you want money - or indeed any kind of material support - from others, you need to know your audience and adjust your pitch accordingly.
You've been trying to get this community to fund your ideas without success for a year now - a year in which you could have been building networks within the communities which substantially support your own philosophies about life, the universe and everything. That suggests to me that you're afraid to move outside your comfort zone and present your ideas to those communities even though the likelihood of you gaining meaningful support and encouragement from them is considerably higher than the likelihood of you gaining it here. You might want to ask yourself why that's the case.
I've researched a lot in my life, I understand the real world very well, in my opinion.
If that was true, you'd already have the funds you need to launch dank's Hookah Lounge and you'd be at work fitting the place out right now instead of arguing spirituality on a messageboard. If you don't understand
why you've been unable to raise the funds for this or your previous ventures, then you
don't understand the real world. You blame the lack of funding on people "not understanding you" or not being willing to "have faith in you" but you actively reject any suggestions to seek funds from people who are more likely to "understand" you or "put faith" in your ideas. Given a choice between producing results and coming up with reasons why you have no results, you get to work on the reasons
every single time and you always externalise those reasons. Your reasons always put the responsibility for your failure on others, never on you, so you don't even
learn anything when things don't work out.
I'm not afraid to move to other communities with my ideas, I thought the Bitcoin community would have like minded people because of what Bitcoin stands for and how it works. Never knew of a better community, but you're probably right, there may be other, better communities.
I understand why I haven't gotten the funds, I am hoping a single person will see my messages as true and help me. It will come with time, I have a lot of other work to get done regarding the hookah lounge.
I don't consider my hookah lounge a failure, it hasn't happened yet but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I don't blame anybody for that, not even myself, it just wasn't meant to happen yet.
