So let me bust this myth for you! I have made decent returns through gambling and through investments. You can check my profile on Fortunejack to see how much i have made. True, gamblers are sometimes impatient and greedy which is what actually causes their downfall, but not everyone is a hardcore gambler and not everyone is addicted! You can get some decent returns from gambling by setting yourself a target and playing the lower edge games like dice. When people start winning, unfortunately they seem to have a surge of adrenaline which pushes them further and further until they lose everything. So yeah, while most gamblers may be impatient or greedy like you have said, there are some people who are level headed too and make money off casinos.
Well every person have their own lucks in gambling, but the experienced one like you has bigger chance to win 
Luck wont come into unexperienced gamblers who thinking gamble as their main source of money. Thats why they cant drive their desire to get money patiently, which they just covering their hole by digging new hole. Anyway, its great to hear you have won much bucks. Good luck dude.The whole issue comes down to greed my friend! When people win a bit, they start to think they are invincible, they LET math catch up with them. You need to be able to stop when you win some, if you cannot do this with smaller wins, you sure as hell cannot do it when you win big! Don't always look for the life changing win, it may cause you to lose everything you ever had. Even if i go to a real casino, i set myself a limit, stop loss if you will, once i lose that amount i walk out, otoh, i set myself a stop-win too, when i win so much i leave, irrespective of if i am having amazing luck or not!
There is no sense in fighting to try and win back what you lost and you live to fight another day. Of course, gambling for me is just recreational, i treat it like a night out at the movies or a party, where i would spend the said amount anyways.. so i don't take too much tension if i lose, coz it would have gone anyway!
