In the video you mention being able to buy via wishlist yet that does not seem to be possible.
Also the smallest amount being 50$ kind of sucks

The wishlist service is a feature we had on launch and we deactivated it after a couple of months. We believe that gift cards offers more flexibility and anonymity for the customer who can shop using their own Amazon accounts. However we are working on activating this service again in the near future.
