Day-night rates never pay for mining, as a flat usage pattern will cost more on that sort of tariff. I don't have any sort of climate charge and standing fee is about £1 a day.
At the time 11.2p was the best I could get on a normal tarriff so it did work out cheaper.
Not sure how you manage to avoid the CCL, and 8p is a very low price so you are lucky.
I was on 14.04p with SSE but just got on a SSE 12 Month fixed offer at 9.43p. So will be able to make a little money until BTC Halving, after that very little chance other than using them as low cost heaters.
Have never seen a single rate tarrif at 8p, does that include VAT & who is it with?
I think its 8.42 inc 5% VAT, with "Extra Energy". They must be a regional / small one as I'd never heard of them until I moved here.
