Mining works, but I just don't get lots of hashes... really don't get it

A block is 3 SHF and an Uncle is about 2.25 SHF.....If your doing solo mining with one card, you should try the pool..I get 71 MHS for 3x HD 7970/280x cards, so you should be hashing around 22 to 24 MHS....I'm getting blocks every 2 to 4 hours still.....
