This is absolutely NOT user friendly wallet.
Tried to send from GUI wallet, asking password, pressing Send, nothing happens.
Tried from native console

This is for linux geeks without a life, not for normal people.

Are you sure you unlocked the account with the GUI wallet before sending? It should display an error if it's still locked. If you keep getting trouble try taking pictures of the steps and send them to me as PM and I'll see if I can reproduce. If it's genuine you'll get some SHIFT rewards
