Well, I don't know if the dev "ripped off" the designer...5 BTC for the design work we see here....way too much!  If the dev were giving away 5 BTC of "OUR" money for this design work, I'd be disappointed.  Think it was a misunderstanding or something else like that....The designer was paid; he just wanted more.

It's just crazy how you're doing your own interpretations and posting it as a "logical" assumption. I don't blame, people sometimes miss the details, but please read carefully.

I never wanted more, I WANTED WHAT WAS AGREED BEFORE THE INVESTMENTS WERE KICKING IN. That's why I even agreed to take this project and I'm a busy designer. I am professional at what I do, I do make a living out of it.

P.S. The webdesign outcome you see is not finished just because Voltarius said "it's enough, it looks good. I have to focus on more important details", so webdesign is at state where I could definitely improve it. So I had plan to improve it, plus we've talked about GUI design, but that's not even important at this point.
Razerglass said it best: "We'll that is defiantly for neither of us to judge.", the BTC amount here is not important, what important is that the dev breached it's agreement with me and I do not tolerate that. I always been honest with people and I always deliver and I do expect the same in return.
I do work for tighter budgets, I work for bigger budgets as well. I even do pro bono. Every project is different with it's own terms, every project is unique.

I believe you are an honest person.  I've been sticking up for you from the beginning; however, I was trying to present the argument from both sides because there seems to be a stalemate in the negotiations of your contract.  There are two sides of the story and both of you see it from different angles.  I truly believe that both of you feel slighted in one way or the other, but there are many others here besides you and him that have something invested in this project who are also being affected by this argument.  And, I don't think that trying to derail the project is fair to the rest of us--that's all.
