It looks like you can buy them, but they won't start hashing for up to a month. Better not to try and risk getting your coins held up for a while.
Yes, it's been 995 miners for hours now. No one seems to be taking it! I personally wouldn't lock in my 8 BTC for 1 month with no profit.
I found a great piece of advice for hashnest!
Buy the amount of hashing power you want from the market section. It usually works out cheeper but you may need to wait some time for the value of 1Gh/s of the s7 to decrease.
I also noticed that there was an estimated ~25% fee for maintainence. When compared with the s5 at ~50% that's quite good!
