I think "the same thing" was in reference to you escrowing for yourself. You did that, right? Why not use another escrow? Saving on fees?

No, and I can't blame some people for believing that it's my alt, but he really is a completely separate person (it was a kind of a roommate situation). The only thing I'm guilty of is posting from his account to get his coins sold because he was too busy raiding in WoW. Paraphrasing how it went down:

Me: Shouting down the hallway "Dude, I'm just going to post for you then."
Him: "Yeah, fine."

He funded escrow and the deal was completed. That's it. It was subject to all the same mechanics and procedures that I do for anybody else. I feel as if I asked a hot date to come over to watch Netflix and chill, when I really do just want to watch Netflix and chill Undecided

Ah ok, I read that earlier in the thread and I guess I misunderstood what was going on.

I still think you should have advised your buddy to use a different escrow agent to avoid the conflict of interest. My understanding of an escrow - an independent third party. I do realize though that I have no way of knowing that with these forum escrows, unless they slip up like QS or yourself.
