well an update, I didn't go to RI. Got my refund. I got a message from my uncle on Facebook that my mom died from a car crash 2 weeks ago. No one knew how to contact me but I'm going to upstate NY to pay my respects. This is becoming a pretty shitty day, thanks a lot.
