The UK Libertarian party seems fairly standard in it's goals and by extension the definition of a Libertarian. What difference do you perceive or believe is perceived in Europe? Please don't reference UKIP labelling themselves as a Libertarian Democratic party even if Farage is as close to a Libertarian MP as I've seen in my life (surely there must be others?).
Also, Libertarianism isn't really known amongst my generation (mellennial). Most of my peers see nothing wrong with sledgehammer state power to fix problems.
