Au contraire. Jesus said He was the way, the truth and the life and no one should get to the Father but through Him. We are still following Jesus, who is making a place for us and going to return.

John 14:3 "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. 4 "And you know the way where I am going." 5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?" 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me

And when He comes all eyes will see Him, and no one will doubt it is the Lord.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

There is no doubt, He has not come back yet.
