I dont think biticoin will ever ruin somebody's life, I think it is more helpful and it makes life better, and purchasing and keeping money a lot easier.
Tell that to Mark Karpelès, the owner of the infamous Mt.Gox, and the exchange customers who lost a huge amount of money there...
