I do not follow these guys. Are they trustworthy? This is for real?

They have been on point with their previous "investigations", so I would say yes.

When cryptsy goes under, based on current volume, looks like poloniex (irony no?) will be the next in line as the No1 for volume DASH.

Of course that assumes cryptsy folk will migrate there.
Why not to support these three?
Poloniex, dashcurex and livecoin?
