I moved my rigs to the basement, decided to power them off my 250v 30A dryer socket for increased power efficieny and not needed to screw around with lower voltage and lower amperage circuits, and have since replaced my stressed evga nforce 790i sli ultra board with an msi z77a-g45.
Left rig has from bottom to top: XFX HD-585X-ZNFC (5850), SAPPHIRE 100281-3SR (5870), ASUS EAH5850 DIRECTCU/2DIS/1GD5 (5850), XFX HD-585A-ZNFC (Reference 5850), XFX HD-585X-ZNFC (5850), and GIGABYTE GV-R585OC-1GD (5850). The gigabyte's fans malfunctioned and have 2 x 80mm x 25mm fans tied onto it.
Middle rig has 4x 5970, all reference. Right rig has 4x 5870 and 2x 5970, all reference. All gpu's run at 1v except for the sapphire 5870 which is 1.05v and the Gigabyte which runs at an unknown, locked, high voltage (It's stable at 1030 MHz core).
Power supplies used are 750 watt NZXT HALE90 for the left one, Rosewill LIGHTNING 1300 watt for the middle one, and PC Power & Cooling 1KW-SR (1000 watt) for the right one. The rosewill powers one of the 5970 on the right. Power consumption is probably in the area of 2850 watts between the three (The middle one measured 985 watts when it was outside). Hashrates are 2150mhash for the left, 2854for the middle, and 2995 on the right.
