It took me around 100 days to make my first 1 btc but after that every thing got fast. So how long did it take you to make the first btc? and I would like to know how did you get those. I got mine mostly by selling services and small faucets

well the fastest way for me to get to 1BTC was in fact buying it.
but i have tried all other ways to make bitcoin too. at first like many other bitcoin users i have started gathering bitcoin from faucets but all i have gathered was less than 0.01BTC all in all. then i started with signature campaigns and also trading altcoins.
and i think it took me nearly 2-3 months to gather 1 whole bitcoin which was around $500 by that time but it is so much faster now.
