If they do I would agree on OpenWrt being most likely.  It is what Avalon used on tp nano and RPI to control some miners.

Who knows maybe someone could use that as a base of with OpenWrt, and look to see what Avalon did to it to get mining nice and GUI.   I still want to see initial screens of the R1.  I don't see why that one review did not show some of it at least.
