So I can grow faster, is there an issue with parents supporting their son?
When their son is jobless and not going to school, then yes -- yes there is an issue with that. It means that instead of being an adult and learning to balance hobbies and work, you are simply taking handouts from your parents. Even if you have plans to turn your hobbies into a profession, if and until that happens, you need to earn your own money and not accept handouts. If you have a method for making more than 1.2-2%/month, your parents should see you as independent and no longer a child who needs their support.
Because getting four years of your life paid for, by going to college, is in no way a handout.
