If im the lender its okay for me you barrow money I don't care if you use in gambling of what ever as long you have collateral

It show the greediness in the money.well, if gambler reach that situations to borrow to gamble, i would say even collateral also need to be careful. he may double spend his collateral or unable to pay back or run away etc.
As per your point of view is correct. But if borrower lost that bet means he also that collateral as well so he/she may be in deep trouble after the loss.
Yes the barrower will be in trouble if he loose both the money he barrow and the collateral,, not advisable to barrow for gambling either you have collateral still risky.
Hire an escrow to escrow your fund doesnt guarantee you will get back what you lend, because some people still runaway with lending money. He just need to make a new account and start to scam people again. Although he give you his id may be it can be fake. So it is pretty risky to lend some people money that you dont even know
